"And know the truth and the truth shall make you free" John 8:32
How many slaves we find nowadays, people under the control of evil spirits, prisoners of their own conflicts, addictions, lying, prostitution, envy, jealousy and vanity. I am not saying only about those that are distant from God, rejected by their ignorance or arrogance, but I speak of people who should already be living what God has provided for his people. Because they have lived with a free people, but they still live a life of anguish, loneliness, away from the plan and purpose of Father.
Why is it that so many people still remain away from the fullness of God?
The secret of freedom, the release of those things that inhibit the enjoyment of a full and abundant life, in which Jesus says, is lack of knowledge of the truth.
And knowledge is not only the information gained, but it is the conscience, the understanding of life turned into practice, changing habits, committing to this new style of life that the Master proposes.
Jesus tells us that knowledge of the truth produces freedom, that anyone who commits sin is its slave, what means all those who remains in the practices of what should already have left are prisoners, are under the yoke.
The religiosity is the largest trick of hell against the life of men, because people think they are living what God has for them, but as well as those to whom Jesus spoke these words, are week in their minds. Well, they have information about the truth, but do not make that information in action in their lives, but only in words of religious rhetoric and appearances.
We need to know the Son, who in fact is Jesus Christ, whom we are without God and what He, Jesus, has done for us and what we are already in Christ.
"If therefore the Son set you free, truly free will you be " John 8:36
It is time to break the relationship with the sin, to continue what God has for us. It is time to break the chains, the shackles, destroying the strongholds that prevent the light of Christ shining in our minds.
Now is the day of freedom!
